I'm starting to wonder if Melkjug should be a little lame and have a
Twitter bot that scours for "information overload RSS" and follow
people that mention it. Maybe that's not exactly what I mean, but the
gist is we should have some more focused plan for getting the word out
to people that would be interested. There's obviously a desire for
it. :)

If they aren't opposed to working with existing stuff, they are
certainly welcome to sprint / hack melkjug to whatever end they're
seeing. Possibly a bit much to absorb as a starting point, but I'll
post a note on that problem about the project at least.

Interesting. Their issue with the most votes right now is
Information overload, which Melkjug has already solved.
Maybe we could host Good Hack Day in NYC May 9th

You could set up a jug for searching for things about information
overload. Then tune it to find only the relevant info.
